Ok so i have barely done anything with this group and was really considering since i havent been a good leader for it i need to give it to someone else if possible. who would wanna try to take charge?

I am a poet. I often write sad poetry. I was wondering how/if joining a writing group would help me at all and if I should join this one. Sorry so many questions, this is my first day.

Hi. I don't really write. I don't even like writing very much, but I wrote this poem kinda out of nowhere, and I feel like I should share it with people because I feel like it's something everyone should learn/know. I honestly feel kind of funny taking credit for it, even though I know I wrote it. My mom says I was "inspired" or something.. Anyway, this poem really helped me through depression from about age 14-16. I figure there has to be some reason for it. So I want it to help others like it did me (and a few others I've shared it with) if possible.
Bottom line, I don't want to join any group I'm not going to contribute much to. But I wondered if I could somehow submit it or something anyway?
I realize this sounds pretty cheesy and pathetic, but I'm honestly just trying to save you an inactive member more than anything by asking this.

Hey! Love the group! Hope you do well! I actually have two groups I'm in and that you might be interested in becoming affiliates with. Both are moderately well known, and if memory serves, one is around 1000 members, and the other is 9000. I really hope this group does well, and I wish you the best of luck. Some really good writer's I would try inviting would be (a great writer, has a DD with "Mexico", doesn't upload often.), (Great writer, even if she doesn't accept her offer, I would ask her advice for your own group), (a pretty good writer that has a lot of potential), (a great writer who is also fairly active in the literature community. She also runs a group and has been known to comment on pieces as well as suggest deserving works for DDs) , and there are so many more, but I will let you do some looking around as well . Hope this group flourishes!
